Kindly attach the completed Application Form, or post it to the parish at 27 High Road, N15 6ND
Please make sure you have the following in case we need to ask for them:
- child’s birth certificate
- parents’ baptism certificates – you must have the certificate from at least one parent, (if both parents are baptised Catholics and have had the Sacrament of Matrimony, the Marriage certificate suffices instead of the baptism certificate)
- Godparents’ certificate of baptism. At least ONE godparent must have a certificate of Confirmation also (if a Godparent is a baptised Catholic who has had the Sacrament of Matrimony, the Marriage certificate may be provided instead of the certificate of baptism)
Infant and Child Baptism (up to 7 years of age)
A preparation course is required for the baptism of a couple’s first child or if it has been more than 2 years since last attending the course. Call to arrange an interview and to sign up. Some parents come during pregnancy as life gets very busy after birth. Babies are baptised during a Mass or at a special ceremony on a Saturday. Contact: 0208 800 2121.
