During Baptism parents promise to bring up their children in the practice of the faith. Practising children can be confirmed when they reach Christian maturity and are capable of assuming the full responsibilities of Christian life. Preparation for Confirmation aims at leading the candidates toward a more intimate relationship with Christ, more lively familiarity with the Holy Spirit and reawakening in them a sense of belonging to the Church of Jesus Christ. 

Candidates for Confirmation should be 14 years of age or older and entering year 10 or over in September. Registration occurs in July and August for the coming year.
