Church opening from February 4 2021

LATEST NEWS 04/02/2021:
Outbreak of the South African mutation of Covid-19 found in N17, just 1.3 miles from the church.
Already three Catholic churches in our deanery are closed for the time being.
St Ignatius, Stamford Hill remains open for the present time for worship, but please be very careful,
and only attend our church if it is your normal place of worship. Otherwise, please stay at home!
Please think twice about coming to church if you have to use public transport.
We will update this notice as soon as we have further information.


Arrangements for the opening of our church for worship are dynamic – please return to this page to check for necessary changes
.  The safety of all parishioners, ministers, stewards and cleaners must be ensured.

The church is OPEN on Sunday for Mass at the following times:
8am – Mass in English
9:30am – Mass in English
11am – Mass in English (also streamed online).
12:30pm – Mass in Polish (also streamed online
2pm – Mass in Polish
4:30pm Mass in Spanish
7:30pm- Mass in Polish
We will be asking for a few volunteers at each Mass to help with cleaning the church swiftly and safely immediately following the Mass, so as to be ready for the next Mass.

There will be 80 places available online plus 20 places (first come, first served) at the door. You do not have to print anything as there will be a list at the door.

Outside of these times the church is CLOSED.

Monday to Saturday:  The church is OPEN each Weekday including Saturday for MASS at 10am.
We will be asking for a few volunteers at each Mass to help with cleaning the church swiftly and safely immediately following the Mass, so as to be ready for the next service.
There will be 80 places available online plus 20 places (first come, first served) at the door. You do not have to print anything as there will be a list at the door.
Each Weekday there is Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament from 10:25am to 11am.  During this time Confessions are available in the Day Chapel, via the sacristy.

FRIDAY: Exposition at 7:30pm with Holy Communion; Confessions in Polish.

PLEASE OBSERVE THESE RULES:

  • Please STAY AT HOME if you feel unwell or if there is any cause for concern about your health.
  • Use the sanitizer available on entering the church, and wear a face mask in church during the Mass, except when receiving Holy Communion.
  • Please maintain 2 metre distance from others, especially in procession.
  • Holy Communion may be received in the HAND only.
